Order privacy
The shop uses only the information needed to take payment, deliver an order, provide support, and keep required business records.
Information used for an order
Stripe collects payment details and checkout contact information. This site receives the customer name, email, shipping or pickup choice, shipping address when required, purchased item, totals, and Stripe transaction identifiers. Full card details are not stored in Payload.
How it is used
Order information is used to confirm payment, reserve inventory, prepare and deliver the item, send transactional messages, prevent fraud, resolve support or carrier claims, process refunds, and maintain tax and accounting records. An order does not subscribe the customer to marketing email.
Service providers
Information is shared only as needed with providers that operate the shop, including Stripe for payment and tax, the site’s hosting and database providers, the transactional email provider, and the selected shipping carrier. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Retention and questions
Business records are retained for the period reasonably required for fulfillment, warranties, disputes, accounting, tax, security, and legal obligations. To ask about order information, contact me and include the order number, but do not send payment-card details.
